About Greg Balestrero

President and CEO of Project Management Institute (PMI), Gregory Balestrero travels the world inspiring business executives and government leaders. Greg is an avid motorcyclist and owner of a BMW R1200 GS. His favorite ride (so far) has been along the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Eastern United States. He also enjoys backpacking and sailing. In his spare time, he thinks a lot about sustainability and how the 16 million people practicing project management around the world can significantly impact making the world a better place.
